The Bride is Here!

For 2,000 years we have been looking to the church (the Body of Christ) to see Jesus and how He is working now upon the earth.  Unfortunately, what we have seen is something much less than God intended for us to see.  Without getting into the morbid details of what we see, let me say this: Our heavenly Father has begun to prepare Jesus’ Bride; and He’s making her radiant.

Unfortunately, our Father must do a lot renovation to get her where she needs to be - without a spot or wrinkle.

One of the first things Papa is doing is bringing us to the realization (by way of Revelation) that the Body of Christ is only one Body and not fragments scattered worldwide.

I am certain we would all agree with the Word of God and say, “Yes…Amen” to the Scripture as it is written in 1 Cor 12:27  ”Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”  Rom 12:5  “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another”.  But let’s take a look at what we have put in to practice.  We will then expand on the conclusion.

If you are seated in a chair on the left side of the room and you want to sit in a different chair across the room, a whole system of movement takes place.  First you make the decision to move.  Then your brain communicates with the various parts of the body that will need to be used to move into another chair.  This all happens via the nervous system.

At the appropriate time, when all the impacted parts have been alerted to get up and move, the action begins.  Your arms lift and boost your body upward, your legs move and you stand up straight.  Then you walk to the new location, bend and lower yourself in the other chair.  That sounds simple!

For almost 2,000 years God has been trying to direct the Body of Christ to do things as He prescribed.

To continue the scenario let’s say an arm, an ear, three toes, one finger and an elbow refuse to move to the other chair.  The body would have difficulty moving from one seat to another. Additionally there would be the pile of rubble left behind in the original chair because it refused to move to the new chair.  That’s what has happened in the Body of Christ.

I know several church leaders who say, “we are part of the Body” but the actions don’t bear this out.  Many are busy doing good things.  Others are building up their ministry and yet some decide to stay put “just because” (apathy).

My Brother and Sister these things are not to be.  When the Father gives Jesus (the Head of the Church) an instruction to move, the Head (where the brain is located) communicates instructions and the Body completes their unique part and works as one unit.

What conclusions can be drawn from this?

1.     The members that stayed behind are not part of the Body.

2.     The members that stayed behind are in rebellion.

Please ponder this information and ask the Lord what He wants to reveal to you about this, what He would have you do or how He would have you pray.

Our Lord Jesus WILL have His Glorious Bride without spot, wrinkle, defect, abnormality or deformity.

Amen!
