Vision and Mission
The purpose of the Behold Jesus ministries is to setup a small group, to build committed relationships with God, and with one another. It will enable us to edify one another, evangelize the lost, establish believers in the unity of faith and the knowledge of His son Jesus, and equip disciples to do the work of the ministry.
The great commission of our Lord is to PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature (Mark 16:15) and to MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations (Matthew 28:18-20). The primary purpose of Behold Jesus ministries is to make disciples in our communities and equip them with His Word and Spirit to be in Jesus and bring people into Jesus. Our commission is to reach the nations for Jesus Christ.
The fellowship Meeting
It is open to all mankind whether married or single. The gathering groups of 2 to 25 people meet at least once in a week in homes or in any common place. Each group meets on the day and time, which is most convenient for that group's members.
This meeting includes fellowship, worship, exploring of the Word of God, and prayer for each other and prayer for unbelievers.
Beholding in Jesus the glory of the Father, we learn to love, obey, and trust in him. By daily looking to Him, the true Light we are freed from the darkness of ignorance, error, sin, and misery of this world.
This group is a part of the larger body of Christ, with the resurrected life flowing Fellowship. It is not a church and attendance at a group meeting and is not a substitute for church.
When the members of a group remain in the body, the life of Jesus flows through the members. The members grow, multiply and cause the body to grow.
You can expect the following in the fellowship
· Enable you to love God with all your heart, mind and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself by ministering to the God in Praise and Worship & ministering the people in His love.
· Developing a closer personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by spending extra quality time. So that His glory shine out from you. Thus enable you to grow in the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and equip you for His ministry.
· Help you to see Him daily; hear His voice; and know His will for your life and ministry
· Partaking the communion by remembering Jesus death & resurrection.
· Praising and praying in spirit and worshiping Him in spirit and truth.
· Wait upon Him to reveal His heart to you. He always does when you read, study and meditate His word to get the revelation of Jesus.
· Obey and put in practice the word in your life and ministry.
· You will be filled with His Word and Spirit to reaching the world with His love
The Member’s Commitment:
· My fellowship is with the father God and His son Jesus Christ and with those believers who have same fellowship with father and His son Jesus Christ. I John 1:3.
· Beholding in Jesus the glory of the Father, I learn to love, obey, and trust in him. By daily looking to Him, the true Light I will be freed from the darkness of ignorance, error, sin, and misery of this world.
· I understand that I am a member of the Body of Christ and of this group in His body (Romans 12:4,5; I Corinthians 12:27).
· As a member of this group, God has given me a vital role in the life and ministry of this fellowship. My brothers and sisters need what God has given me through the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8; I Corinthians 12).
· The Lord instructs me in His Word to consider my brothers and sisters in order to stir them up to love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together but to exhort one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:24,25).
· I also realize that I need the encouragement and edification of my spiritual family to become all that God wants me to be and to fulfill His destiny for my life (Hebrews 3:12,13).
· I do all things with the love of God (Ephesians 5:21; 4:15, 16).
· As the Lord instructs me in His word I will continue steadfastly in teaching of Jesus, fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayers and have all things common. Acts 2:42-46
